It is through contemplation that we can begin to see the interconnectedness of all things, the impermanence of all phenomena, and the true nature of the self.

This contemplation can lead us to the insight that all things are impermanent. We may then contemplate the nature of the self and realize that it is also constantly changing. This contemplation can lead us to the insight that there is no permanent, unchanging self.

Contemplation is a powerful tool that can help us to develop a deep understanding of the nature of reality and the self. It is an essential part of rati ren and can help us to live more mindful, compassionate, and wise lives.

• Compassion

It is a state of mental calmness, composure, and acceptance, in which one is able to maintain a clear and discerning perspective regardless of the challenges or joys that life presents.

Equanimity is an essential component of rati ren because it allows us to respond to the world with wisdom and compassion rather than with reactivity and attachment.
